• Acremonium – This type of mold often grows in humidifiers, drain pans or window sealants. Eventually, this mold has a fine powedery substance.
• Alternaria – This type of mold typically grows in showers, bathtubs, or sinks! Often is a dark green or brown color.
• Aspergillus – Most common mold in households. Shows up in several different colors.
• Aureobasidium – A mold that can be found behind wallpaper or wooden surfaces.
• Chaetomium- Has a cotton texture that is often found around water damage.
