SERVPRO of Denton knows that having a plan is the best way to prepare your family in case of a fire emergency. It doesn’t take a lot of work, but it can be the difference in being able to protect what matters most to you.
Your plan doesn't have to be overly complicated. Here are some suggestions that go into having a great plan for your family in case of a fire:
- Involve your children in making the plan so they understand what to do when there is a fire.
- Keep exit paths and meeting locations as simple as possible so they are easy to remember.
- Practice the plan so your children know what to do in case of an emergency.
- Review your plan regularly so the plan does not get forgetting in the event of an emergency.
Taking the time to come up with a plan is an important part of protecting the people in your life in the event of a fire.
You do not know when or if the fire will start, but you can make sure that your family is ready in case it happens. If you need additional help, call SERVPRO of Denton at 940-566-2277 and we can gladly point in the direction of additional fire safety resources!
